2018 FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour Schedule Announced in Moscow – The trophy tour schedule for FIFA World Cup 2018 has been announced. This will be the longest ever National Football World Cup Trophy tour which will start this September. According to the schedule, the trophy will visit 24 Russian cities from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad. The tour was announced during the ceremony at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

One of the major football tournament – FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 came to an end and Russia showcased that they were up and ready to host even bigger football fiesta which is scheduled in less than 12 months. The FIFA World Cup 2018 comes to Russia and the excitement level is building day by day as we march towards 14th June 2018 which is the kick off date of FIFA WC 2018.

Since Russia is a huge country, FIFA had to schedule the event in one part of the country in order to save the travelling time of players between matches. So 11 host cities were selected from Russia which included Kaliningrad, Kazan, Krasnodar, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Saint Petersburg, Samara, Saransk, Sochi, Volgograd, Yaroslavl, and Yekaterinburg.

However, to raise the excitement level in other parts of the country, the iconic trophy of FIFA World Cup 2018 will start its marathon journey in September 2017. The trophy tour will cover 26000 kms in the span of 123 days. 24 cities of Russia have been announced as the pit stops for this trophy tour.

This tour is a joint venture of FIFA and Coca-Cola. The tradition which started in 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany has been followed for last twelve years. The tour has been a success as million fans from all over the world have fulfilled their dreams by watching the FIFA World Cup 2018 trophy with their own eyes.

The 2018 World Cup Trophy tour will be the longest tour in the history of Football World Cup. The journey which will start in the Far East, Vladivostok will travel up to Kaliningrad, the most westerly part of Russia.
